Wendy A. Ritch is the owner of RitchVision Photography. She is a founding member of the Tom's River Artists' Cooperative Exit 81 (TRACx81) and a member of the Ocean County Artist's Guild, the Momouth County Arts Council, the Guild of Creative Art, the Belmar Arts Council and the Shore Institute of the Contemporary Arts. Wendy shows regularly and loves it (see exhibition schedule below).

Here are a few little-known facts about Wendy:
* Is learning to apply the word “artist” to herself
* Has practiced photography since childhood, when an instamatic represented cutting-edge technology
* Loves to use photography to explore “textures” in the natural and unnatural worlds
* Is originally from Connecticut. And New York. And Massachusetts.
* Travels far and wide to capture amazing American landscapes – most recently in Arizona and Alaska
* Is academically trained as a political philosopher and theologian but currently makes a living in the field of counter-terrorism and all-hazards preparedness
* Took a lengthy sabbatical from trying to be a singer/songwriter/guitarist when she realized she would never be Joan Baez
* Just added “novelist” to her list of artistic pursuits, but the book isn't exactly writing itself
* Recently started using digital manipulation - and enjoys it a little too much
* Occasionally forgets to experience life directly instead of through the lens of her camera
* Is herself a work-in-progress
